I got my Lipid Panel done this morning. Strictly blood work, of course. This after taking "CholestOff" and Cinnamon for the past several months. Since early spring, best I recall. Here are the numbers:

Trig: 89
Chol: 225
HDL: 82
LDL: 125
C/H risk: 2.74 (I'm told this is the most revealing number of the group as it is well below the 5.9 level for cardiac arrest probability).

Same story since I started keeping these records in 1999. Cholesterol hit 306 in 2002 and has slowly inched downward since. My risk factor hit 5.0 in '03 but has fallen to nearly half since then.
