I wasnt banned on that thread but thats because i dont post there anymore. Been there, done that. A lot of what you say is true Ed. Although i wouldnt go to war on it, i still maintain there might have been a better outcome if there was competence in this admin. Mostly thats why i supported it. I thought those old white dudes were competent. When powell fell off the wagon and the museums were looted and especially when i saw the armories sitting unguarded I knew we were in for trouble. If there were more troops, if law and order was maintained, if the iraqi army wasnt disbanded, and if bremer didnt try to become MacArthur of arabia, we may have had a punchers chance. No i wouldnt do it now, because the odds on the good outcome might have been even money but thats not good enough to start a war.
