Steady as she goes. Big software takes one year to stick.

The company has cash and R&D to move forward. Suse has too few programmers, and Waltham is on Gnome only; so, that leaves Provo to work out the customer demands. Provo programmers are inventors of netware, Waltham is open source community but needs to mature to keep desktop stable. Suse is doing mostly bug fixing for the Linux community(50,000 bugs every new kernel issued by Linus). Suse is the R&D on new Linux kernels.

In the end, Provo will setup websites to do Novell business, and all is well after that.

Novell has plenty of time with so many partners to guide them on future technology by revenue sharing. What sells today is SOA and that is websites, of DNS domains or email address(yet to be invented).

Longterm outlook continue to be on schedule. Service for enterprise system with efficient desktop extended by netware server website storage solutions, will earn $billions.
