PURE speculation. No evidence of such a result.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions (even when they are *wrong* :-), but I believe that the OPPOSITE of your contention is far more likely to be true... and there is certainly far more evidence that tells us that a hyper-active policy of foreign intervention is what is *most likely* to bring disaster to us....
