That answer sounds like some of the folks on Hannity's "Man/Woman on the Street in NYC".... An absolutely telling (in not a good way) commentary on the state of our very expensive public schooling today. We all know it....We all see it.... And yet, no one seems to be able to teach kids the basics... Do the teachers know what the basics are anymore? Homeschooling during Abraham Lincoln's day at least provided us with kids that grew up to be adults, and who could at least read, and do basic math. They could also compose their thoughts in letters, which we can see examples of, today.
