Alternative hypothesis is that PCIe 2.0 makes a big difference to Crossfire. Intel supports this in the X38, coming next month.

Theo should've provided CPU and GPU subscores for both runs. That would've helped confirm legitimacy.

Better than 100% scaling with CPU & GPU speeds is a tad... suspicious.

CPU 2.5 --> 3.0 20% faster
GPU 743 --> 830 11% faster (that was core, GPU mem about 9% faster)

Claimed total score: 23768 --> 30031 26% faster

I don't think so.
