I reserve my disgust for those who have thumbed their nose at the world, American law, the American Constitution and the people of America -- I reserve my disgust for those who have harmed American national security and sent our children to die in a vain attempt to pump up their own lack of manhood. When the going gets tough for them personally, they run like spoiled little children and crawl back into their rat holes, blaming everybody but themselves. I had no prejudgement of them -- I would have shown them deep respect if they had earned it. Instead, like most Americans -- Democrat and Republican alike -- I hold my nose tight to protect myself from the growing stench that comes from the White House, and I hope after the people who live and work there are gone and the building is fumigated that we have better luck next time. There is never any assurance that the next President will be good -- but there is no question whatsoever that what we have seen from Bush and his 'pals' has set a standard of personal and professional conduct so low that it would take an incredible effort to find anybody in America who could do worse.
