I ask you to find one good counter-example of a fatwa against bombing Tel Aviv pizza parlors. If only a small minority favors terrorism, and the majority says its unIslamic, there should be no problem, right? But now it's excuse city, now you say it wouldn't prove anything.
It would prove that there lives at least ONE major Islamic scholar IN the Middle East willing to speak out against suicide-bombing Jewish women and children, that's what it would prove. I don't think there is one and I'm still waiting for evidence to the contrary. He would have to be a very brave man or have a lot of protectsia to say it out loud.

No, it isn't. If it were about land, very serious Israeli proposals such as Camp David and Taba would have gotten at least a counter-proposal. I mean, that's what the Pals SAY they want in English, right? Their own state on the WB and Gaza? Did they really launch a terrorist war because Israel wouldn't hand them that last 2% in Gush Etzion and Jerusalem?
Or maybe...just maybe...this isn't about land at all. But about Israel existing inside ANY borders.
