I think I'd have to say my use of CholestOff hasn't had enough time to judge it fairly. I told my brother about it a couple years ago, but didn't start taking it myself until last spring. He's been on it since I told him and his levels came down quite dramatically. His doctor, who wanted him on a statin, told him "what ever you're doing is working, don't change a thing."

An aside, I'm reading on another thread (Vitamins, etc.) about how vitamin D may be more helpful in fighting artery blockage than statins or these plant sterols. To tell the truth, I'm a lot less worried about my cholesterol (at 225) than I am at my borderline blood pressure. I would love to find a way to get off my BP meds and still get an acceptable reading.
