Marine layer..that's it..nobody ever explained it to me and I never thought to ask.. I never appreciated the desert until I spent the late winter thru summer in Santa Fe last year..at first I thought it was pretty depressing..I can't even name the galaxies I saw..it's pretty amazing, isn't it..what I really appreciated were those days when it was 25 degrees yet absolutely no wind..a cold weather wimp like myself could go out in a fleecy jacket and deal...the cloud formations were sumthin else.. I have 2 friends(twins no less) at Burning Man right now..I prefer monasteries in Spain for spiritual expansion-g- As that article portrays, by the time it hits mags like Conde Nast.......................There's a delicious SNL retrospective tonight.. Bought a flat of cukes for dilling..wish me luck..
