I haven't gotten a ticket in 25 years. This ticket, for no front license plate, cost me $138.00 plus 5 hours off work. Someone told me they were going to start cracking down on this because of the red light cameras in Houston. I have no idea if this is true or not. My husband and I were driving in to work this morning and 1 our of every 5 cars had no front plate and, like my car, there was no place to mount the plate.
