the SPX put./call OI ratio is currently LOWER than 82% of all readings over the past year!! this is bearish precisely because it means there are not enough bearish directional bets out there. plus, as i've mentioned, the 700 strike calls are offset by the same position in 1700 strike puts. since this dude isn't even mentioning those puts, he has NOT 'done his homework'. maybe you should put this information out there on SI - people are obsessing over a chimera.
