Carl,

Thanks for the info.

The current SPCT situation reminds me of the COMS situation earlier this year. That is what intrigued me about SPCT. All of the roles are the same:
The Company - strong fundamentals (COMS and SPCT) that have not changed significantly to prompt the sort of sell off we are seeing.
The Market - Continued strong growth in the markets that the comapnies (COMS and SPCT) service.
The Rumours - In COMS' case INTC was going to put it out of business with price wars and NICS on a motherboard, then there was that merger...SPCT's rumour that it would miss its number followed by a large order placed to a competitor for a product SPCT does not produce.
The Spike - COMS had hit the 80's a few days before the massive sell off.
The Stock - Continued to sink in COMS case to the unbelievable price of around $24 (I wish I had gotten that second mortgage now!). SPCT may continue to slide until Oct 23 and a little beyond...providing great buying opportunities in a heavy over sold situation.

Even the tenor on the SI message boards is similiar.

Well, I have now done very well with COMS and expect to do very well with SPCT. There is even a part of me that would love to be able to buy some more of this company at around 36-37!
