He did have an interesting point: We contribute 3 billion a year in aid to Israel. We contribute 2 billion to Egypt, we provide aid to Saudi Arabia, and many more Middle East countries who are enemies of Israel. Some of this aid ends up providing arms to terrorists resulting in more violence. (Though I believe his numbers are now low for how much aid we give --- it does beg the question: if we stopped giving so much to the Arab countries, would Israel even need as much anymore?)
