Ftc Closes Investigation of Camelot Corporation

No Action Taken

DALLAS, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Camelot Corp today announced that the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") has closed its
investigation of Camelot and the marketing of DigiPhone. The FTC has determined that no further action is warranted. "We are
pleased to have this investigation brought to closure with no action taken on behalf of the FTC," said Danny Wettreich, chairman and
chief executive officer of Camelot.

Separately, Camelot wishes to make clear to its shareholders, vendors and customers that the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of
Camelot Music, Inc. reported by Reuters News Service on Aug. 9, 1996 is totally unrelated to Camelot Corporation. The similarity
of the names has caused some confusion, but Camelot Corporation has no interest in or business dealings with Camelot Music, Inc.
or its related entities.
