I don't have any knowledge of Medicare premiums being deducted from social security checks but I suppose its possible. Does anyone here know?

There is no premium for Medicare Part A, the part that covers hospitals. Medicare Part B, which pays for doctors and is optional, costs about a hundred a month and is deducted from your SS check. There is also an optional Part D for drugs. Part D consists of private insurance plans, which are only facilitated by the government. I don't know how the premiums are paid. Probably deducted from the SS check.
