for several years Sun showed Cray boxes in their booth at financial market shows, i think i remember seing them as early as 93'. has Sun made heros of a lot of financial MIS folks with this product? does the Cray technology that Sun bought, which they have had in fromt of customers for three or four years been a big part of their sucess lately? i remember that SGI would show up with the magic bus, a wild garishly painted mobile trade show booth and show off their stuff. has this created a mindset? how much will it cost to change? i'm hearing that Microsoft and Intel are paying for the full development of the NT box. they are also going to cover the marketing and rollout costs of getting this thing off the ground. is this what the justice department and all who loath MSFT find an objectional business practice? vincent
