no need for complication. The point of the rule should be that if some argument goes on too long on some day, and degenerates into excessive repetition, then it can be stopped by the moderator. Hopefully after cooling off for a couple days, the argument will not be resumed. If someone is posting too much for your taste, why not ignore ? You are a subscriber. If you are worried about the sensitivities of free loaders, name one non subscribing whiner who has ever posted even one single post worth reading ? The whole purpose of allowing free postings is to get subscriptions. If someone has been posting and reading for months, they should either pay for full access, or quit whining. Or just go away. Does anyone actually miss plantlife ?
