Steve, I only have the protective Oct30 puts (and a few Jan98 calls bought with residual cash). I'm worried about the damage .01 can do! If news is good, I know the price will jump, but when is it SAFE to abandon the protective puts? Right away? Can there be a secondary reaction (down) once news is OK, but people realize that there is a huge amount of resistance in the stock to overcome before we see 50-60 again?

P.S. My account does not yet permit naked options and is a cash (not margin) account. I'll put off the serious option trading until next year after (1) I've done my reading; (2) I've purchased a good software program to test my trading on historical data; and (3) I've signed up for real-time info.
