Not wanting to see the movie, doesn't mean I have my head in the sand. Moore isn't the only person who can make arguments for a single payer, or a fully socialized, system. I am actively engaged in more than one discussion on SI on the issue, and I also read articles with different viewpoints. Moore tries to portray health care in Cuba as so great. Well maybe it is for a big international celebrity like him.

Outside of the bit about Cuba I haven't seen much of the film (only the part with the window where they give out cash to patients rather than take payments) so I can't comment as much about that, but if he makes some great argument why you can't repeat it or find someone else who has.

I guess, to the extent that he shows anything that might be convincing, it isn't an argument, or a presentation of facts (both of which could easily be shown in any number of ways without presenting Sicko, or directly quoting Moore), but rather impressions. I do think Moore is good at making movies to convey the impression he wants. I more interested in data and arguments, rather than perhaps interesting but one sided, potentially even dishonest images.
