Peace can only come when arabs in the west bank and gaza and in the camps in lebanon say israel exists and will exist. Then all is possible.

>>Agreed in full.....

Really? You agree with this? Then why do you call me names when I point out that this isn't a border conflict?

It's about recognizing Israel inside ANY borders. Not as a hideous and hopefully temporary fact. But as a legitimate country already 60 years old.

They Arabs have never done it and the Pals have been moving steadily further and further away. By now most of them under 20 have scarcely met an Israeli who isn't a soldier, and they all grew up being taught that martyrdom=death by killing Jews is the greatest glory they can aspire to.

You ask me why so many call my sentiments hate-filled? I'll tell you what I think. I think they project their anger on me because I'm pointing out a reality that they despa]erately need NOT to believe. The reality that not all conflicts are between reasonable people with negotiable grievances on both sides. That sometimes one party's 'red lines' involve the mere existence of the the other party, and no solution can be agreed that doesn't involve the destruction of that other party.

There are many many people who desperately don't want to believe in such situations, because it blows away their entire pacifist stance for viewing the world and the world's conflict.
