No it's not a stock like a spec metal play! the company dose R&D for nuclear fuel. How can you compare them? Metal stocks are a dime a dozen, linked to the speculation of gold and silver and supply and demand. Thorium Power is in its own world as a tech stock. People will not react to this like they do with mining stocks because they don't have to worry about the price of gold or silver to factor in.( just look what happend this month to all juniors) Mining stock traders have something to work with besides the general stock market and company news. THPW should just stay flat unitil there is a good or bad news, or a large investors gets in or out. it's as simple as that. The only relation they have is they are a penny stocks which really only defines liquidity issues. So YES you can relate the risk factor to them, but potential and basis is very different, this is why you get a different pool of investors in each sector. Im sure there are a lot people trading this that look at this as a uranuim type of play, but, in my opinion, they will get blow out of the game when decent news gets released unless they can just hold on and try not to trade the pull backs. The chart/marketcap 18 months ago before the merger tells very little because 150mil more shares were created when THPW started trading in fall 06, this is why the stock tanked from .50 when it was incepted.
