The fatah leadership says 67. Isreal needs to work with that as best they can. Otherwise sarmans quesitons comes into play on whether israel can indeed survive forever in a sea of hate. Its in the national interst of israel to do everything for peace that they can that doesnt affect national security. Getting rid of the non-contiguous settlements adds not subs from national security. That was the sharon plan for gaza and those settlements. The fact that the arabs made a mess of gaza does not change the fact that israel doesnt have to be in the mess day to day. And if gaza attacks israel, they have the right to defend themselves with whatever it takes.
