Thanks too (in advance) to Mephisto's Linux housemate (if you ever come home). If I might take this sub-thread sideways briefly, does anyone have knowledge or opinion with regard to Sun providing an x86 Solaris (OS, Developer platform(s), etc) at an 'amateur' or 'student' level price point?
