As you know we already lost a new SIP pick to acquisition. AA400 10 days after it was included in the new portfolio. I've said nothing because few of us had the opportunity to build much of a position. The hundreds of shares purchased did make a nice gain from 12 ish, and this may be one of those to hold for the combined company. I had ran a model on it way back in April and noticed the same type of trading as I mentioned yesterday. Currently I have 5 rabbits I am looking at as suitable replacement ( includes several suggestions) . Though none being considered, are in the same space as what we just lost. We have a lower zone issue that can carry this weight, and it will begin in this coming quarter to give notice. Value will emerge from the trade obfuscation, it always has and always will. inadvertently, in doing some MB forensics i've stumbled onto one that looks very good, at 1.00. Frankly as q4 arrives, I like lower zones 3 2 1 very much, the longer term charts say it all, most of these positions are lost against the backdrop of strong performance elsewhere in the SIP, exactly how it should be. As their particular appointments with changing time; arrive, I believe we will have a record 08. Breakouts across wide swaths of undervaluation are great fun, and they compound your bottom line at the same time. L0807 has a lot of pent up energy in it...thanks to the index buyers..the trade is slicing and dicing to get in. Its still a great value, but the trade has probably desked a lot of shares to accommodate the buying...stalk the consolidation and it will break up. In fact, tests of the lows can be stalked in here across the board.
