There are hundreds of closet cases in the top level of the rightwing. That gos from the religious right all the way across Rove's gay gang through the White House, congress and senate. There are democratic gays too, but most of them are very open about it so they are not dangerous to society. closeted gays tend to be self-loathing and take their shame out on others. Hitler could have been a closet case for instance. J Edgar Hoover definitely was and could have had the Kennedys killed.
