countries like : US, Canada, UK, Germany, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand - grant citizenship to the person born there, as a "right of birth" to the person with no strings attached. In addition if you have UK/German citizenship (amongst others) you have EU citizenship. Countries like the GCC countries offer citizenship to people who have lived there for generations based on the ruler's desire. I do not know of any country that automatically grants citizenship based on the specific faith the individual follows - except Israel.
