Ken: Sue the @%*%##! and your old employer for defamation! If you live in California, the limitations period is one year from the date of the defamatory comments (generally). mph P.S. just checked your profile and see that you're in another state. In most places, former employers cannot make false statements about employees to prospective employers withou incurring liability. See your local attorney at least for a consult.
