We visited Canada 30 years ago and had a child. He now owns Canada, has a Canadian passport etc. He also own New Zealand, being offspring of New Zealanders. So, by mere luck, he owns two of the best countries. One of them we and our ancestors created. The other was a gift [although we paid a minor amount of tax for 3 years - not enough to justify owning the place] No wonder people from barbarian countries will do a LOT to get out of Africa, India, China, Vietnam and Moslem countries to take possession of better ones. As shown by Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, a solution other than escaping is to make the old place better. A lot of NZers hope for that, but are giving up in the face of barbarism and are escaping to better places. Barbarity is now a cultural norm in New Zealand. Mqurice
