re: The "K-street gang", was influence over the government. Not power over it. If the corporations where more powerful they would just decide things rather than try to influence those with much greater power. Are you dense? You haven't noticed that lobby groups have been writing all the legislation for the last 6 years? The politicians are a product sold by the ad dollars from the corporations.
