Gonzales lied under oath about something very important. Bush, Cheney and Rove have fought like gangsters not to be put nunder oath. Otherwise they would all be guilty of perjury on the most massive scale imaginable, and about really serious issues. Clinton never should have been asked those questions in the first place. What business did Ken Starr have delving into his personal private life? It had nothing to do with Whitewater, which was a big nothing about nothing anyway. In fact, every time the GOP uses the word "witch hunt" we all have to laugh. That's all Whitewater was and nothing more. Plus, Gingrich the GOP leader at the time now confesses he was screwing another woman while his wife was sick with cancer at the time, and GOP Speaker Livingston was too. At least Clinton only got oral and manual sex. In fact he never did have sexual intercourse with that woman, and she came after him.
