Our military is completely exhausted. All we have to attack with are airplanes. And bombing alone doesn't get much done, plus our intel in iran sucks (see outing Valerie Plame) and the blowback would be enormous.

But fascist type psychology (see Hitler, Napoleon, Mussolini, Alexander the Great) has shown that often wannabe military dictators don't quit until they've destroyed themselves and everyone around them, so beware. Don't put anything past Bush-Cheney, no matter how corrupt, dishonest or illegal.
