We can not surrender to those people. They are dead. They were criminals that committed crimes inside our nation. "So, you prefer to surrender?" no "So far, it appears that you would prefer to leave things alone and do nothing "because we can't"..." If we can't, then we shouldn't waste the resources. In addition, if we do decide to expend resources, they should be directed much more toward the stated target: terrorists and terrorism. Right now we are in a location that didn't used to have much representation from these radical groups. We made a large presence there to draw them in. Killing thousands of people while doing so. Isn't "them" killing thousands of us the reason we are there? So doesn't that justify them killing millions of us in return?
