If you ate a vegetarian diet or added some occasional fish, drank a gallon of fresh clean water per day, ate plenty of organic cherries or pure cherry juice everyday, and cut out all alcohol, I highly doubt anyone would have any problems with kidney stones or gout.

I would try that before I resort to a chemical (Allopurinol) with all kinds of side effects.

The best part about that is that you'll be healthier and you won't need the medical system. To me, that's what Universal Health Care is all about. Prevention over cure.
