Hello Mason, This should be an interesting thread as the action gets going on this med. device maker . Unlike many small cap. proprietary med. device makers, IMMUCOR (BLUD:Nasdaq) has earnings ! from its other products. I would like to add some info about the "big gun", the ABS2000: the tests that it performs are cellular diagnostic tests, not blood gases and etc. the ABS2000 does automated blood typing and antigen testing like Rh factor. THERE IS NO OTHER DEVICE LIKE IT ANYWHERE. All blood typing these days are done manually. It is time consuming and errors have resulted in deaths. THe ABS2000 is faster (cuts labor costs) and safer (more accurate). AS I understand it, BLUD is the only company presently developing such a device (that has made any progress). J&J has "thrown in the towel" on trying to develop such a device. BLUD has been successful because it owns the rights to the patented Capture technology. Enough BLUD for now....stock moving nicely last few days. Dominic
