We are in deep trouble as a society if we are to the point that reckless random sex in public places by public officials is accepted! Not even a close call.............I will be happy to vote for any republican should this be the position of democrats or liberals.

Just guessing but I suspect that's not a platform plank for any organized political party, even the Dems (I'm, of course, reminded of Will Rogers comment, to the effect that he was not a member of any organized political party; he was a Democrat).

But back to your comment. I can't imagine a quicker way, well there could be some, to electoral destruction than to advocate such.

But q was confusing something he/she called "random sex" with sex in public places. And was bemoaning the former as well as the latter. I can't imagine any serious political candidate advocating the latter but I can imagine political candidates not wanting to have sex police checking up on who and when we all have sex with (just can't find an easy way to get the preposition back in place).

And, as for public sex, a bit of confession. ;-) I don't know about you but I've done some of that.

I did a little front seat of the car stuff as a teenager in rural Texas on back roads. And then there were the favorite Austin places on Mount Bonnell for University of Texas undergrads. Wonderful views looking down on Lake Austin. Lots of stuff going on in cars.

Most of us grew up to be reasonably mature adults.
