I always find out if there is a red tide before I dig. It is much more likely to happen in the Puget Sound than the ocean beaches.

I hadn't heard about Poison Cove. I thought red tide was a more modern affliction.............guess not. There must have been a large colony or tribe camping at Poison Cove where the Aleuts died?
