I think those of you who post here know my story about wanting to get off of CADUET the combo Novasac and Lipitor.... I got the Dr. approval five months ago and the Gym where I go took my readings which were great. Conclusion.. no blood pressure medicine necessary. Then went for routine blood test and they found 170/90 and told me I had high BP.. I learned that the cup the gym was using was faulty. Called my Dr. and she put me on a genric metproponal or something like that. Took me off diuretic too. Well the past week my blood pressure has sky rocketed. I bought my own cup so I know. When I first get up its 190 over 95.. and this is just when I get out of bed. All day long it goes up... I am alarmed now as a friend said she had her stroke when her BP reached these levels. I have a call into the Dr. for a Norvasc prescription. I am going back on it and hopefully the diuretic. Quite frankly I am scared.
