My Grandmother, mother, sister and myself have all had kidney stones. Had mine removed in July 1971. They said that it was called a staghorn and completely filled my kidney cavity and cut its usage by 85%. Told me to stop drinking soda pop and to start drinking cranberry juice and tea. Have not had another stone as yet and sure hope that it stays that way, too painful. Good luck.
