What a horrendous experience. You are lucky...A friend of my sis went with her grandkids on some cruise to Mexico about six years ago...Part of the package included a side trip in Mexican-owned glass bottom boat on the Sea of Cortez - it capsized, the passengers were thrown into the water. Fortunately, some woman spotted this gal's five year old granddaughter, put her on her back and swam safely to shore with her..As I recall a few people died in that accident.
