Please, show the stats. Let's compare them to Subsaharan Africa - you did say the slums were among the worst in the world.

They are poor compared to Israel. Not to the Congo.

Yes, I heard the BBC report you linked - it was about electricity shortages because the EU stopped paying for fuel for a time. Which begs the question of why Hamas can't either recognize Israel and get the money, or try running a normal economy by collecting taxes. But that would interfere with the jihad.

Moreover, none of this goes to the question of why the Palestinians have chosen to revere suicide bombers in a cult of martyrdom. All you are doing is showing reasons why YOU think they should feel a certain way. If THEY actually do feel that way, it should be easy to find examples where THEY say that they are driven by despair.

So find them.
