A friend built one for about 90,000 (1200 sq. ft.) plus about 20,000 for the inground heating pad. We intend to look into all the eco friendly solutions available as it is somewhat of a project. Will probably use water runoff and cistern rather than digging well as some up there have spent 20,000 plus on the quest for well water. We could use ozone treatment.

Right off the bat a round home is about 15% more energy efficient per sq. ft., or so I am told. Would certainly cost more than conventional to build, but costs could be recouped over time.

10 minutes spent browsing the site will give a good intro to the concept.
