CNBC reported this morning at $7:15 am that "...AT&T board is glad to consider Charles Lee as the chairman of the combined company........." The stock prices for both AT&T and GTE are trading UP in Europe again. If GTE stock moves up quickly this week to around $55, it will force AT&T make the merger announcement earlier. The soonest may be next Monday, IMO.
