News flash: The MAJORITY of modern computer hardware and software is "Y2K compliant".

Uh, What about legacy hardware and software? I don't think the MAJORITY of modern computer hardware and software is the problem.

It's just them dang applications written in COBOL 30 years ago?,
or custom applications that read/write dates from text files
instead of using a database. I can see data conversion being real
big. (ie. if the date is 02/01/01, is it 02/01/1901 or 02/01/2001?
it depends.)
