Harris Stratex Networks Opens New Mexico City Office to Better Serve Latin America Customers

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Sept. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSTX - News), the leading independent supplier of turnkey wireless transmission solutions, announced the opening of its new Mexico City office, which will help the company better serve its customers in the rapidly growing wireless transmission market in Latin America.

The new office will serve as the company's regional headquarters, directed by Armando Trejo, vice president, Sales and Services, Latin America, for Harris Stratex Networks. It is located at Ejercito Nacional 926 P-3, Col. Los Morales Secc. Palmas C.P.11540, in the center of one of Mexico City's most vital business districts.

The office, which consolidates Harris Stratex Networks' previous resources in Mexico, will enable the company to optimize its sales and support efforts and better serve its growing customer base in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Functions operating from this facility include sales, professional services, engineering, customer service and administrative staff. The new facility will include conference and training rooms for staff and customer meetings. Harris Stratex Networks will maintain satellite offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina to provide focused support for South American customers closer to those offices.

The Mexico City office also enables Harris Stratex Networks to provide best-in-class service for its customers in Mexico, including some of the largest telecommunications service providers and private network operators in the region.
