Failing that I think picking one US state that is geographically isolated from the rest - HA - would be a great experiment. Not a bad idea. IMO we might be better off removing prohibition in stages starting with pot, implementing a full program on it across the country, including dispensing and growing. I'm amazed that the democrats haven't jumped on this because of the prospective tax revenues. I'd think that would be enough to make the Dems giddy.... One thing is positive, we've tried the drug wars which has been a huge failure basically turning S. and Central America into one big narco state. Common sense dictates that we try something new.
