I hope stage two is done in a dignified manner, but at some point we no longer have a status other than as guests providing services to them.

Rough, if you talk to any military personnel in Iraq I'd bet you that they can't wait to achieve the status of guests. If things go well, there will be a very clear understanding of just exactly where the military stands in country, it's called a status of forces agreement. We have one in virtually every foreign country that we have bases in.....
