Yes, we know Bush and his handlers want to bomb Iran, but why do they want to bomb Iran so badly? Perhaps because after Iraq, which has already been bombed, Iran is one of Israel's chief enemies, and next in line to be dismantled piece by piece?

What they consider the borders of "Eretz Yisrael". The land spoken of in the Bible between the Nile and the Euphrates are contained within the two stripes.
The two blue stripes on the outermost edges of the flag signify the two rivers, the Nile and Euphrates.
In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: (Genesis 15.18)
They feel (erroneously, mind you) that they have a God-given right to the land between these rivers.
The Lord says otherwise:
Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance. Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land? (Ezekiel 33) |
