Thanks for the OT mention of A123 Systems, Eric. Someone on the ENR board over at Yahoo! mentioned it, in passing, a few months ago. He seemed to think P&G had already bought it:

Rather than GE, maybe something like ENR (Energizer) would be interested. ENR is sitting on cash, even after buying-out Playtex in July. Rather than pay dividends to it's shareholders, ENR just keeps building it's cash reserves waiting for a tasty buy [although the Playtex buy had me scratching my head].

Yes, I hold shares of ENR. I got them either the easy or hard way, depending on how one looks at it: via a spin-off from Ralston-Purina (itself later bought for cash by Nestle).
