Thanks for the summary, these one minute response type things aren't really debates, although the candidates did start getting into it on occasion... Ron Paul showed he was quick on his feet, people may have picked up on that, but he didn't always answer the question... he was a broken record, he kept on referring to the Constitution as our ultimate authority, and even if he were correct about that, he still appeared uninformed about the current world situation, he would prefer to do nothing even though democracies around the world are being attacked... during the hypothetical section, he did nothing but blame, he intentionally failed to address the question itself... at least, the others made an effort to respond even though they also criticized the question... I agree with you, nothing was gained last night, I almost fell asleep twice...

Yes, McCain sounded better, but he still came across as a good debater and somewhat whiny, but not Presidential... Rudy did seem a but uncomfortable and Romney seemed fine, but so what... it seems all we can do is glean little bits and pieces from these candidates from these overall debates... the debate format itself is troubling...
